Today, September 2nd is the Arab Day for Tolerance. On this occasion, Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies issued a press release that calls for enhancing the culture of tolerance and principals of democracy especially the freedom of opinion, expression and belief in the Arab world. Also, it calls for combating the culture of fanaticism and the exclusion of the other that has become a common culture in most of the Arab countries.

The Arab Network for Tolerance (ANT) appealed to the Arab League to officially announce September 2nd as the "Arab Day for Tolerance". On this occasion, Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies (RCHRS), the ANT coordinator, congratulates the Arab World in general and the Network members in particular.
