On September 2^nd, Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies (RCHRS) celebrated Arab Day for Tolerance in Palestine by holding an event honoring Palestinian writer Ali Khalil Hamad, an activist in tolerance and human rights. 

Today, September 2^nd is the Arab Day for Tolerance. On this occasion, Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies issued a press release that calls for enhancing the culture of tolerance and principals of democracy especially the freedom of opinion, expression and belief in the Arab world. Also, it calls for combating the culture of fanaticism and the exclusion of the other that has become a common culture in most of the Arab countries.
